So Carrie and I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day that much.
I would rather love and serve my wife everyday by choice than on a day that the media tells me to.
Having said that, I do try to do a little something to express my love to her.
This year was obviously a little bit different because we are in the DR.
So I thought I would let you know how you too could make a Valentine’s Day special in the DR.

First off, you sneak off on a motorcycle taxi, while that special someone is working, to buy a single red rose and a goofy stuffed monkey.
Then, while she is exercising with a friend, you cook dinner.
Keep in mind, you might be living with two single guys, so privacy might be an issue.
  No problem.
Set up dinner for two on the roof while the guys eat downstairs.
Don’t take a shower, because you will just get sweaty again, and besides Carrie will be sweaty as well.
You proceed to surprise her and escort her to the roof when she arrives.
Then the two of you eat a fine dinner under the stars while listening to the smooth tunes coming from your iPOD.
After dinner you surprise her with ice cream, a stuffed monkey, and a love letter.

This is the perfect recipe for a great Valentine’s Day with that special someone in the DR.
Put that in your back pocket just in case you need it one day.

Life is Good and GOD is Extra GOOD!!!

We are doing well. Prodigal Child Ministries continues to bless us everyday and God’s hand is helping us so evidently!

Wheeler is going to the State playoffs against Norcross this Saturday. Figures we will be up against the #1 seed, but that is what you get from losing a region game!
Maybe we will pull and upset!!!! Go CATS!!

    Take care.
We continue to pray for you and the work you are doing serving in the DR.
    Love ,
